Executive Flavio Maluf dashed into business in 1987 when he joined his uncle, who was the President of Eucatex by then. He joined the company in the industrial department and expressed unexceptional diligence which made him be appointed to the executive team in 1996; and by 1997, he became the President of the company.
Flavio Maluf studied Mechanical Engineering at Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation but later shifted his passion to the business world. Though he was born in a wealthy family, he worked hard and employed business skills to keep the company successful.
