NBC’s ‘Deception’ Cancelled! Meagan Good Tweets Disappointment

NBC just started started notifying series that are getting cancelled. Among them is midseason drama Deception, which starred our girl Meagan Good.

The Meagan Good mystery series concluded its first season in March after bottoming out with a 1.1 rating in the key 18-49 demo. What does that mean? That many critics were predicting that “Deception” was certain to be canceled.

Megan took to Twitter earlier today to share the bad news with her fans…

I’m sorry everyone… I just wanted to let you know that NBC has decided not to renew DECEPTION… and I just wanted you guys to hear from me first… I am so thankful …and humbled ..and blessed by the out pour of love and support -to see it come back.. and saddened that it is not… Thank you so much for supporting me means so much… Well as I can before …Daddy always does best onward and upward … Thank you NBC for the Opportunity- I’m definitely better for it ! … Lego .

Although we here at No U Ain’t Radio are disappointed by Deception’s cancellation, it was good to see Ms. Good in a different kind of role. In addition to Good, the show starred Victor Garber, Tate Donovan, Laz Alonso and Katherine LaNasa. Good luck to them all!

Naughty By Nature Breaks Up?

Naughty by Nature fans may never get to see them together again because a member has been booted from the crew. The New Jersey hip hop trio — Treach, Vin Rock (aka Vinnie) and DJ Kay Gee — has disbanded, news of which was made public by way of a pretty revealing Twitter post from Treach.

“Vinnie from NAUGHTY BY NATURE is Officially FIRED!! Anything he does besides shows til Sept is Frugazy!! F— him & the Ground he Walks!!”

Leaving no room for misinterpretation, Treach followed up the tweet with another angry proclamation. Continue reading →

Lil Wayne released from hospital after seizure scare, takes to Twitter

Lil Wayne is alive and tweeting.

Tweets appeared on the official Twitter page of the 30-year-old rapper today reassuring fans of his improving health.

“I’m feeling a lot better and again thk u all for ur love and prayers. It was truly felt…pause,” the tweet said. He also shared that he was watching “Highly Questionable” on ESPN 2 earlier today.

Weezy was hospitalized last Tuesday after suffering multiple seizures.

Late last night, Mack Maine, the president of Lil Wayne’s record label, wrote on Twitter that his close friend and business partner had been discharged from his Los Angeles hospital after a nearly weeklong stay and was headed home. Continue reading →

Keyshia Cole Throws Shade at Beyonce on Twitter

Keyshia Cole’s nickname should be The Mad Rapper these days. In February she threw shade at Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams following DC’s Super Bowl performance, and now she’s taking shots at the Queen Bey. Following the release of Beyonce’s new song “Bow Down”, Keyshia took to her Twitter (yet again) to voice her opinion, tweeting “First ‘Women need to Stick together’ now bitches better Bow. Smh. But it’s all G! Chicks stay shooting the shit.”

Beyone’s #BEYHIVE was not having it, and immediately took to her defense. Check out some of the tweets below:

We’re not sure what KC’s going through these days, but unless she wants her career to end up like Keri Hilson’s, it would be in her best interest to simmer down.
