When we heard that BET’s ‘The Game’ was getting rid of Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall’s character we knew for sure that the show wouldn’t last too much longer. But if ANYONE could restore our faith in the series – it’s actress Lauren London – and from what we’re hearing, she has been casts as Tia’s replacement.

The stars of “The Game” (Tia Mowry, Wendy Raquel Robinson aka Miss Wendy, Hosea Chanchez and Pooch Hall) are featured on the cover of the latest issue of JET Magazine. Inside the January 17th 2011 issue, JET sits down with the cast members of the BET sitcom and gets the scoop on what fans can expect from the show’s highly anticipated return to television next week.
“Malik is going to go to a really dark place this season. That’s the best way I can describe it,” says Chanchez, who plays Malik Wright. “The way the writers wrote this character this season, it is definitely, by far, my favorite work.”
This issue of JET Mag hits stands Monday (Jan 10), the eve of The Game’s highly anticipated premiere on BET.

Woohoo! WORD HAS IT that new episodes of Rhea Bea’s favorite show THE GAME are set to start airing on BET in January 2011. It’s about time….we were getting sick of all of these re-runs! The cast tweeted a few photos from the set yesterday and from the looks of it just about everybody is returning. We’re still crossing our fingers for Wendy Raquel Robinson (Tasha Mack) and Brittany Daniel (Kelly Pitts). They’ve stepped up Tia Mowry’s fashion game for the show! Is it us or is she looking a little thin? From the photos, it looks like Meagan Goode is playing Malik’s new freak of the week! What in the hell is she doing straddling him on a toilet? NO U AINT!
