Man charged in R&B singer Bobby V’s carjacking

Police say they’ve charged a man with armed robbery and vehicle hijacking in the carjacking of an R&B singer in midtown Atlanta.

Authorities say singer Robert Wilson — known as Bobby V.  parked a red 2013 Bentley outside the Hot Beats Recording Studio Tuesday night when police say he was approached by two armed robbers. Police say Wilson complied with the men and they drove away in the car. The Bentley was later found abandoned at a commuter train station.

Police said Thursday that Robert Unrico McFarland was being held on the robbery and vehicle hijacking charges and charges of aggravated assault and having a firearm during the crime. Fulton County Jail records do not list an attorney for McFarland.

Police said they’re still searching for a second suspect.

Dang Bobby  we didn’t know  you had Bentley paper, your last album couldn’t have even bought you a Yugo. Well at least you didn’t get hurt .Good luck on your next project.

Disco Queen Donna Summer dead at 63

Donna Summer — the Queen of Disco — died this morning after a battle with cancer, TMZ is reporting.

We’re told Summer was in Florida at the time of her death. She was 63 years old.

Sources close to Summer say the singer was trying to keep the extent of her illness under wraps.  TMZ spoke to someone who was with Summer a couple of weeks ago who says she didn’t seem too bad and she was focused on trying to finish up an album she had been working on.

Summer was a 5-time Grammy winner who shot to superstardom in the ’70s with iconic hits like “Last Dance,” “Hot Stuff” and “Bad Girls.”

And in remembrance of Donna Summer….

Is Rihanna’s wardrobe attracting the wrong kind of attention?

Rihanna clearly wanted to grab attention of a different kind after showing off her breasts in a see-through mesh top in New York.

The Rated R singer certainly lived up to her album title by baring all of her goods to diners at Italian eatery Da Silvano.

Diners at the famous eatery will not have known where to look when the chart topping star walked in leaving little to the imagination.

She finished off her mesh pullover look, which also showed off her toned midsection, with a pair of ripped denims and boots.

The 24-year-old also wore a wide grin, and seemed to be enjoying causing a stir with her outfit.
