Crunchy Black of Three 6 Mafia Shot and Currently Hospitalized

While details remain scarce at this time, it has been confirmed that Crunchy Black of Three 6 Mafia has been shot and is currently hospitalized. The news was announced by Crunchy Black’s manager Vanessa Jackson: that the Southern rapper sustained gun shot wound(s) in Las Vegas, NV where he currently lives.

A photo has been released of Crunchy Black, legally known as Darnell Carlton, laying in a hospital bed recovering. Based off of the photo, it looks as though the gun shot wound has done some serious damage.

Breaking News: Member of Cali Swag District shot and killed

We regret to report that Montae “M-Bone” Talbert of the popular hip hop group Cali Swag District, was shot and killed late Sunday night, according to sources. The popular group, who hail from Inglewood, CA, made a major impact on the Hip-Hop scene last year with their hit “Teach Me How to Dougie”. M-Bone was infamously known as one of the group’s prime dancers along with members DJ C-Smoove, Yung and JayAre. He was only 22 years old.

Details of the shooting have yet to be revealed, but our prayers and condolences go out to his family and friends. Story developing.

UPDATE 4:09a: According to MTV, He died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head while sitting in his vehicle in front of an Inglewood liquor store on LaBrea Ave. Ben J From The New Boyz, known for their single “You’re A Jerk” tweeted: “R.I.Paradise my N**** @MbOoONe u my N**** 4Life im shedding a lot of Tears for u bro :’(…. Ima stay strong but It’s hard dog”
