Check out our girl RiRi after making her acting debut in Battleships, in which she did a pretty good job. Now Rihanna has landed a role as a lead voice in an upcoming animated film called Happy Smekday!.
Now this movie is being produced by Dreamworks and is based off of the popular book The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex.
Rihanna will co-star alongside Jim Parsons of The Big Bang Theory in the film, which is about:
“A friendly alien race invades Earth and uses it as a hideout from their mortal enemy. When one lowly alien accidentally notifies the enemies of his whereabouts, he is forced to go on the run with a teenage girl, embarking on a comical road trip across a postapocalyptic America and learning what it really means to be human.”
Happy Smekday! will be in theaters near the end of 2014. But in the meantime, Rihanna is also set to appear in The End of the World, starring comedian and actor Seth Rogen.
