It’s that time again. Election season is here and if you’ve been glued to your TV’s like we have you know that it’s a very tight race to The White House (or back to The White House). All of our subscribers and listeners know how much we love to clown around, but lets be serious for a minute. Ask yourselves….Are you educated on the issues at hand? Are you clear as to what each politician’s views are? If your candidate is elected how will your life be affected? If the opposer is elected will your future be compromised? Does race play a role in who you will vote for?

Are Race Relations in America Going Backwards?

In 2008 when Barack Obama was elected as the first african american president of the United States of America many felt that finally the color lines between black and white were finally being erased. This has turned out to be the exact opposite it seems as if race relations are disintegrating by the day.

With recent tragic events such as the Trayvon Martin killing the Tulsa,Oklahoma shootings and a massive increase of racially charged rhetoric in the media it seems that america is willing to allow history to repeat itself. Then there is this: ”The Talk, Nonblack Version” written by John Derbyshire former writer of the conservative news site the National Review.

President Obama sings Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’ at the Apollo Theater

Who knew our President had hidden talents? Last night while at a fundraiser at the famous Apollo Theater in New York City, President Barack Obama turned into an R&B Crooner. While on stage, he announced Al Green was in the building before going into a soulful rendition of ‘Let’s Stay Together’. His brief performance resulted in a lot of screams while he joked ‘I told you I was gonna do it. The sand man did not come out’.
