NFL: Robert Griffin III Wins Offensive Rookie Of The Year

 Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III won the Associated Press offensive rookie of the year award on Saturday night, tying a bow on a memorable season while also casting some optimism on the next one.Speaking for the first time since undergoing extensive knee surgery nearly four weeks ago,Griffin said his rehabilitation is already ahead of schedule and he has “no doubt” he’ll be ready to play next season.

“My goal is Week 1,” he said. “That’s all I’m really worried about.”

Griffin, who underwent surgery on his right knee on Jan. 9, said he’s been off crutches for nearly two weeks and was walking Saturday with only the slightest hint of a limp. Sporting a striped burgundy and gold neck tie, Griffin had no problem taking the stage at Mahalia Jackson Theater and accepting his award from New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees.

“It’s a truly a blessing to be up here and be able to stand, first and foremost,” Griffin told the star-studded crowd. “I had a tough injury there at the end of the season.”

The quarterback had made no public appearances since injuring his knee in theRedskins’ Jan. 6 playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks and likened Saturday night to a “coming-out party,” as he offered updates on his progress and his offseason hopes. Reggie Bush Confirms Girlfriend’s Pregnancy

While on Florida’s Paul and Young Ron Morning Show Miami Dolphins star Reggie Bush confirmed his girlfriend Lilit Avagyan is pregnant with his first child but doesn’t know the baby’s sex yet. Reggie did add that if the baby is a girl he’s “going to the gun shop to buy some guns”.

It probably isn’t odd that both Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s exes are expecting at the same time, but we had to mention that……

Mother Of Terrell Owens Baby Still Wants To Get Paid!

One of Terrell Owens’ baby mamas has her fingers crossed that the recently-fired wide receiver lands a new NFL team all so she can keep getting paid.

T.O’s fourth baby mama, a woman named Melanie Paige Smith, filed papers earlier this month to block T.O.’s request to lower his massive child support payments. In the documents, Smith’s reasoning was largely based on the fact that T.O. had recently inked a deal with the Seattle Seahawks, for close to a $1,000,000 … and could afford to continue shelling out for his kid. But as of Sunday that’s not longer the case. As we reported yesterday, Terrell revealed via Twitter that he was axed by the NFL team and is currently a free agent. In other words …no more paycheck! Now Smith’s attorney, Randall Kessler, is saying T.O.’s career snag won’t affect his client’s request to keep the dough coming…at least for now. Instead she has her “fingers crossed that another team picks him up.”

Pacman Jones ordered to pay 11mil for strip club shooting

TMZ Reports NFL star Pacman Jones has been ordered to pay roughly $11.6 MILLION in damages to the victims of a 2007 strip club shooting in Las Vegas.

Pacman had been sued by Aaron Cudworth and Thomas Urbanski — two security guards who were shot outside Minxx strip club during an NBA All-Star weekend back in 2007.

The incident was widely reported — things went crazy inside the club after the NFL star made it rain with hundreds of dollars in singles. According to reports, Jones got upset when one of the dancers began taking the money without his permission.

A fight ensued outside the club … and three people were shot … including Cudworth and Urbanski.

The security guards sued Pacman over the shooting — even though he was not the shooter.

Moments ago, a Nevada jury found Jones to be responsible for the shooting and awarded Cudworth $1.3 million in damages. Urbanski — who was paralyzed from the waist down in the incident — got $9.6 million. The winning lawyer was Richard Schonfeld.

Urbanski’s wife sued for loss of marital relations and won $750k.

At the time Pacman pled no contest to misdemeanor conspiracy to commit disorderly conduct — and was sentenced to 1 year probation and 200 hours of community service.

Pacman better try to come up with a new video game “Pacman up in the club” to hell pay that hefty bill. We all know the original Pacman video game made Trillions. Just our suggestion.

Chad Ochocinco Dropped From The New England Patriots

Chad Ochocinco was just released from the New England Patriots after a short-lived career on the championship team.

According to NFL.com the Patriots had been trying to trade Chad all day.

“Thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to play for the “Patriot” organization… fans were wicked awesome, I wish all of you the best…” tweeted Chad who is set to wed Evelyn Lozada on a forthcoming reality show.
