Forget the other 99 women, we’re focused on the sexiest woman….EVER! Baddie Bey graces the cover of GQ’s magazine for the 100 sexiest women of the 21st century issue.
The past 24 hours have been all about Beyonce as the beautiful superstar has been all over the web wearing nothing but a pair of panties and a cutoff jersey across the cover of GQ magazine.
After the leaked photos of the cover started making the rounds, the magazine decided to not only release the entire cover, but the entire photo shoot for the magazine.
This particular issue is covering the 100 sexiest women of the 21st century, and it’s only fitting that Beyonce is the star of the show. The February 2013 issue was shot by famous photographer Terry Richardson.
Beyonce also let fans know how she is preparing for her upcoming performance at Super Bowl XLVII next month.
“One of the reasons I connect to the Super Bowl is that I approach my shows like an athlete,” Beyonce explained. “You know how they sit down and watch whoever they’re going to play and study themselves? That’s how I treat this. I watch my performances, and I wish I could just enjoy them, but I see the light that was late. I see, ‘Oh God, that hair did not work.’ Or ‘I should never do that again.’ I try to perfect myself. I want to grow, and I’m always eager for new information.”Check out the photos of Beyonce below. Andrew Bynum’s injuries have prevented him from playing this season, but his hair has managed to keep him in the headlines.
The Philadelphia 76ers center was spotted watching his team play on Wednesday while sporting the ‘do you see above. We really don’t even know how to describe the thing other than a hot mess. Like Black Sports Online, we’re just at a loss for words.
Earlier this season, he was sporting the Don King look, but now he’s gone fully with the Ike Turner cut?
We’re thinking Bynum does this intentionally just to mess with peoples’ heads, kind of like the way he was so insistent on shooting threes with the Lakers. He just likes stirring it up while looking like a hot mes! #NOUAINT trying to go natural AB! (where’s Anna Mae?)
Here are other looks at the ‘do: Continue reading
Thank God for this post we spotted on Jezebel! People will always find fault even during what should be one of our proudest moments. Stop the hate and congratulate a fellow American for doing her thing and bringing home a Medal for our country!
As of yesterday, 16-year-old Gabby Douglas is officially an Olympic gold medalist. But some people watching her compete weren’t focusing on her floor exercise — they were distracted by her hair.
Monisha Randolph, a contributor to a blog called Sporty Afros (run by our pals Alexandria Williams and Whitney Patterson), has been dismayed with what she’s seen:
So what’s the big deal about Gabby’s hair? From what I am reading on Facebook and Twitter, many African American women who are SITTING and WATCHING Gabby compete believe her hair is not “kept.”
