These Compton-bred rappers sure are getting into the holiday spirit and are hitting home runs when it comes to giving back to their fans.  First, Kendrick Lamar threw an impromptu free concert on top of a double decker bus outside of Staples Center the evening before releasing his debut album Good kid m.A.A.d city, and on Thursday the cleverness continued when rapper The Game sent his Instagram followers on a scavenger hunt throughout Los Angeles to yank the first copies of his fifth studio album Jesus Piece, which will be released December 11th.  Continue reading →

(VIDEO) R. Kelly Boots Ratchet Fan From L.A. Show By Singing!

When R. Kelly saw two ladies fighting over a seat at his Los Angeles concert on Saturday, he didn’t scream for security — he SANG for security … and it was all caught on tape.

Kelly was in the middle of singing “12 Play” at his show at the Nokia Theater in Downtown L.A. this weekend, when he noticed two female fans getting physical in the crowd.  Of course, we were in the building and from what we saw woman had accused the other of stealing her seat … and they were THIS close to going head to head.

And that’s when R-ra. saved the day … stopping his show … and breaking out in song: “SECURITY … SEC-UR-ITY.”

It’s hard to hear exactly what Kelly said after that … but he definitely barked some orders to the crowd control staff and dropped a couple of cuss words … while staying in tune.

Security eventually responded to the situation and escorted one of the women out of the building … thus concluding the most beautiful ejection we’ve ever heard.

Kendrick Lamar Throws Free Concert Outside Staples Center

Kendrick Lamar has his city on fire.  Last week he performed two sold out shows in one night at Club Nokia L.A. Live, and was joined on stage by none other than Dr. Dre, T.I., Big Sean and The Game.  The following day he performed to a sold out crowd of 2000 at The Fox Theater in Pomona. 

Clearly that wasn’t enough for the King.  

Yesterday, the TDE artist tweeted he was having an impromptu free show outside of Staples Center following the Laker game.  Talk about #CRAY.  That was all it took for the madness to begin. The Laker game started at 6:30pm, and by 8pm there were already a  good 100 people standing in the parking lot across the street from the venue waiting to see a piece of hip-hop history!  At the top of a city tour bus parked directly across the street Kendrick emerged and performed for a good 18 minutes before the cops shut him down.  Why?  The crowd of 100 quickly turned into hundreds as soon as the game let out.  Kendrick performed “Swimming Pools” twice and “The Recipe”. Beyonce Pens Letter to Blind Fan

Beyonce and her pen strike again!  Beyonce used her Tumblr page to congratulate Timmy Kelly, an 18-year-old young man who lives with Cerebral Palsy and is blind. She met Timmy when he was just 13. Since then, he has graduated from High School and been accepted to college!Bey penned her old friend a letter:

“The first time I met Timmy Kelly was in 2007, backstage at the Grammys. He was only 13 and he touched my heart with his voice and his love of music and life. He’s now 18 and he’s graduated high school — I’m so proud of him! Timmy was born blind, and with cerebral palsy. But this never slowed him down — he has proven to everyone, that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and work hard. In Philadelphia, he’s known as the good luck charm to the Eagles and whenever he sings the national anthem before a game they always win. His strength and determination is an inspiration. Timmy was just accepted to Temple University’s Boyer College of Music and Dance.

Congratulations Timmy!

Kris Humprhies is doing everything in his power to reveal the REAL Kim Kardashian. (Hasn’t this guy moved on yet?) He’s ready to put his ex’s true persona on blast by releasing text and voice messages of Kim trashing her fans.

Kim Kardashian may act like she “LOVES” her fans, but super dirty secrets are coming out right now as she heads to divorce court with ex-hubby Kris Humphries, and her fans are learning what exactly the “REALITY” star feels about them…

“Kris has text and voicemails from Kim where she calls her audience ‘gullible’, ‘stupid imbeciles’, ‘boring little nobodies’ and ‘pathetic people with no lives of their own,’ says a source.The recordings also reveal Kim Kardashians MANY plastic surgeries…”liposuction, three nose jobs, a boob job and work done on her butt. She can’t stop with the plastic surgery,” says the source, “and I don’t think she ever will.”
