Evelyn Lozada Explains “Date” Photos With Ex-Hubby Chad Ochocinco

As we previously reported, Evelyn Lozada and ex-hubby Chad Ochocinco were spotted out on a “date” Sunday night in Miami.  With all the backlash Ev has been receiving for rekindling a relationship with her abusive ex, she took it upon herself to explain what’s REALLY going on.

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to wish you a happy and safe New Year and take time to address a few rumors and unanswered questions about last night.  It seems as though things have gotten a wee bit out of control.

I attended a dinner with Chad’s daughter, not only because I love baby girl like my own, but to support Chad and his fan appreciation dinner.  While at the dinner, several photos popped up on the Internet of Chad and I holding hands, while in the process of blessing the food. The blogs made last night seem as though, we walked hand and hand into the restaurant announcing a reunion, which wasn’t the case.

Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocino Back Together?

2012 has been the ultimate year of forgiveness when it comes to celebs in dysfunctional relationships.  First, we watched as Chris Brown slowly reeled his ex-boo Rihanna back in and now from the looks of things, another celeb couple gone horribly wrong are back together.

On Sunday, reality couple Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada were spotted at Southstreet Restaurant in Miami.  It was a family affair with Chad’s daughter Jicyra and her mother in attendance as well as a few fans. Continue reading →

Evelyn Lozada & Chad Johnson In Court…TOGETHER…To Drop Restraining Order

Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada were together again for the first time publicly since they’re divorce…in court today.  The two–who have been exchanging romantic words via Twitter–made for a united front as they moved to have the restraining order dropped.

For the first time since their August divorce, Chad & Evelyn were in the same room together (publicly) as they got the restraining order dropped after their domestic violence incident.

The ex-couple made their way to a Florida courthouse to face a judge after Evelyn copped a restraining order following an alleged head-butting incident…over a receipt for condoms.

 Ev answered “No” to the judge when asked if she felt like her life or safety was still being threatened by Chad.  And if she felt unsafe.

The judge granted her wish and dropped the restraining order at Evelyn’s request.  And she reportedly has told friends she wants to start speaking to him again.

Stevie Wonder saw this coming. We wish them luck! If Ri Ri can forgive Chris Brown then anything is possible.

Miami Basketball Wives Threatening To Walk

The “Basketball Wives” are drawing a clear line in the sand for the network execs — either up their salaries or they’ll walk.

We’re told filming began last week for the 5th season … but Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn Lozada, Tami Roman and Suzie Ketcham do NOT have locked contracts.

According to our sources, the “Wives” are in the process of renegotiating their contracts and they all want major pay raises, claiming the show does quite well for the network.

Our sources say VH1 is refusing to pony up more cash. We’re told before filming started, execs made it clear that salary increases would not happen and if any cast member had a problem with that … they could be replaced.

Despite the deadlock, we’re told production schedules were sent out and the girls began filming in hopes a deal would be worked out shortly. So far, a deal has not been reached and neither side is budging … so we’re told the “Wives” are planning to walk out next week if VH1 can’t agree to the terms.

Calls to VH1 have not been returned.

Maybe BBW will be replaced with a quality show.Wait we don’t want quality we want untalented drama.Vh1 pay them girls!

Nene Leakes thinks Evelyn Lozada needs to shut the hell up

In an interview with ESSENCE.com, NeNe Leakes, star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and the NBC series, The New Normal, was asked about the allegations of abuse Evelyn Lozada leveled at her soon to be ex-husband, Chad Johnson.

NeNe says she thought to reach out to Evelyn, but wasn’t sure if it was appropriate.

Still, she offered a bit of advice to the Basketball Wives star:

ESSENCE.com: You talked about having a troubled past with domestic violence. What are your thoughts on Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson?
LEAKES: I wanted to reach out to her, but I didn’t. I feel like when people are going through something I’m confused about whether I should say something or not, because so many people are saying stuff to them. I don’t talk to Evelyn regularly, but I do know her, we do text if we need something from another. The only advice I would have for Evelyn is to be quiet. I wouldn’t say anything else. To me, it makes matters worse and I would be quiet and try to it handle privately.

TMZ has reported that Chad Johnson has been officially charged with battery, so maybe Ev will take NeNe’s advice and quiet up. Or you know, not. That spinoff to replace the lost spinoff isn’t gonna appear out of thin air.
