2012 BET Awards Red Carpet Fashion Winners…..and Losers!

The highlight of just about any Awards Ceremony is what the Rich and Famous decide to wear on the Red Carpet.  Stars lit up the carpet yesterday at The 2012 BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles (Let’s be real… some of their outfits should’ve been lit on fire).  Here are some of our favorites…

Chris Brown Retiring From Music?

When Chris Brown received the Best Male R&B Artist at Sunday’s 2012 BET Awards, he dropped a huge bomb on his fans when he announced that “Fortune” will be his “last album”.

“I’d like to thank Team Breezy, everybody who worked on any one of my albums,” Chris said. “My last album that’s coming out in two days. I just want to thank all my fans. It’s dedicated to y’all. When BET’s Stephen Hill said he had a ‘hospital sick’ front row for this year’s BET Awards, we kind of guessed it would look like this. Beyonce (along with her sister Solange), Jay-z, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian all sat front row tonight while enjoying performances from the likes of D’Angelo, Chris Brown, Usher, Melanie Fiona and more. The bubbly was definitely poppin’…

On the other side of Kim Kardashian, sat Nicki Minaj, Birdman and Young Money.

Eddie Murphy, 51, steps out with new girlfriend Rocsi Diaz, 28, at BET awards

Eddie Murphy put all sorts of speculation to rest Saturday night when he and girlfriend Rocsi Diaz finally came out as a couple at a pre-BET Awards celebration.

The 51-year-old actor and his “106 & Park” host gal pal looked decidedly comfortable being photographed together in coordinated outfits on the red carpet at CEO Debra Lee’s gathering.

Murphy rocked a pair of deep blue dress shoes to match Diaz’s navy key-hole cocktail dress, and kept an arm warmly wrapped around her waist throughout the evening.

Diaz, 28, joined Murphy on a family vacation in Maui, Hawaii as recently as June 12, but neither have previously confirmed nor denied their relationship. Continue reading →
