It’s seems like a few NBA players have forgotten to take their meds these days, and are acting a straight fool. Next up Amar’e Stoudemire.
Amar’e Stoudemire lacerated his left hand after getting into a fight with a fire extinguisher. The New York Knicks didn’t just drop their 12th consecutive playoff game tonight to the Miami Heat. They may have lost their power forward as well.
That’s because following the game Amar’e pulled a bit of a Kevin Brown and punched a fire extinguisher casing in anger at the poor performance by his team.
Needless to say it looks as though the fire extinguisher casing won this battle.
Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports is already reporting that Amar’e needed stitches to close the wound. As of now there’s no word on whether or not Amar’e will be able to play in game three at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday Night.
While all fans appreciate passion from their favorite players this little display of emotion may prove to be the nail in what was already looking like a rapidly closing postseason coffin for the Knicks.
