It looks like the drama between 50 Cent and ex-bestie Floyd Mayweather is heating back up!

On Thursday, rapper, 50 Cent fired the first shot via his official Twitter account, confirming the rumor that he and Floyd Mayweather were no longer friends and were not, in any way, partners in his upstart boxing promotion venture.

“TMT IS OVER. The Money team is no longer a team,” 50 Cent wrote. “I’m no longer a part or down with TMT Promotions. If anyone wants a Money Team jacket I’m selling mine for a dollar.

Recently, 50 also used the Twitterverse to indicate that his fighter, Yuriorkis Gamboa, wants to move up in weight to take Mayweather out.

Leaked Letter Reveals Origin of 50 Cent vs. Floyd Mayweather Beef

A boxing website has obtained a copy of a letter sent to Floyd Mayweather on July 24, 2012 while he was incarcerated from his business associate Tommy Summers that seems to show that he was trying to convince his friend to join him and 50 Cent in their new The Money Team (TMT) Promotions venture. We’re not sure how this surfaced since in the letter Summers asks Mayweather to tear it up after reading, but in the letter he encourages the boxing champ to split from long-time adviser Al Haymon because he did an underhanded deal, and join the new venture so he can rake in over $100-$200 million a fight.
