Breaking News: Steve Nash Traded To The Los Angeles Lakers!

ImageIt was just a week ago when Steve Nash said in an interview that he couldn’t ever see himself wearing a Laker uniform because of the past rivalry between the Lakers and the Phoenix Suns. Well, apparently that all changed with a phone call from Kobe Bryant, now Steve Nash has officially been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers for future 1st and 2nd round picks to be revealed later.

Now that Nash has joined the Lakers the rumors are swirling that he will also attempt to recruit his good friend Grant Hill to join the Lakers as well. This could also lead to Dwight Howard finally agreeing to a trade to the Lakers because Nash will be the floor general and make sure shots are distributed more efficiently among the players.

This move puts a nail in the coffin for the Ramon Sessions era, he opted out of his contract hoping to get more money and years from the Lakers, after hearing that the Lakers traded for Nash, Sessions has decided not to return to the Lakers and will weigh his options to play elsewhere.

This trade makes the Lakers a little better but a lot older, we are hearing that the Viagra and Cialis marketers are clamoring for the opportunity to sponsor the lakers. We also have heard that Hoveround Scooter company is definitely in the running for a sponsorship as well.

One Response to Breaking News: Steve Nash Traded To The Los Angeles Lakers!

  1. Solid article bud. And. What. An. Absolute. Shocker. My mind was blown when I found out Steve Nash was going to Los Angeles. It’s going to be very interesting to see how he fits in with Kobe’s ball dominating ways but I think this is good for the Lakers. Instant contenders IMO. Nash should fit right in with the big men and, as usual, he makes everyone better around him. Another NBA season full of new storylines. Also, you think you could check out my blog cuz I’d love to hear what you have to say http://chrisross91.wordpress.com/2012/07/05/head-over-head-for-steve-nash/
