What initially started out as an exciting night for X-Factor star, Stacy Francis, hanging out with her idol Whitney Houston, quickly turned ugly after Whitney’s jealous side reared its ugly head.
While attending a pre-Grammy Awards party hosted by Kelly Price at Tru Hollywood nightclub, Stacy and Whitney were seen together chatting it up and swapping stories of their kids….the two met back in the 90’s and have even performed together on stage….but then the tequila shots arrived and things took a turn for the worst.
Later in the evening, Whitney spotted Stacy conversing with her boy-toy Ray J. and ran over with her claws out saying, “You know Ray’s my baby? Yeah, I’m a cougar girl!’” Stacy tried to diffuse the situation but it quickly turned physical with an intoxicated Whitney asking, “who is this b*tch?” Several pictures have hit the internet with Whitney leaving the club that night looking disheveled, sweaty and had what appeared to be scratches and blood on her arms and legs from the scuffle.
The very next day, Whitney Hoston, was found dead in the bathtub of her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton.
After Stacy heard the news about Whitney’s death, she tweeted the following: “I deeply regret the events that led to Thursday’s misunderstanding, but I respect and love her more than I can say…Whitney maintained a genuineness in this difficult profession and I will always admire and respect the courage that she lived.”
It’s hard to imagine the struggle one goes through in this type of a situation. But we can definitely give props to Stacy for sending the heart-felt and respectful tweet instead of holding a grudge.
