We’re not huge fans of metal music, but this right here is HILARIOUS! A undercover staff member of No U Ain’t Radio was present at the Anthrax show Saturday night (October 22) at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, and things went down! The show was briefly put on hold when a fan hopped onstage and near lead singer Joey Belladonna. This prompted one of the club’s security guards to leap onstage to tackle the fan taking down Belladonna in the process. Pop the hood to watch the video. The shenanigans begins at the 1:37 mark:
After the dust cleared, the fan that jumped on stage can be seen running away while Joey Belladonna had to be restrained. Once things simmered down, guitarist Scott Ian took to the mic and told the audience “pretty smart to tackle the singer, fucking geniuses they have working up here. I guess they haven’t seen him up here for the last 90 minutes!”
We’re not mad at Club Nokia’s security! When it’s going down you better move your ass out the way! NO U AINT getting mad at the security guard when he was trying to have your back!
